One of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu’s most outspoken figures is lining up another spectacle!
Craig Jones revealed on Friday that the main event for the upcoming Craig Jones Invitational 3 will feature himself taking on controversial BJJ and MMA personality Dillon Danis.
A specific date and location have not yet been announced.
Jones has spent recent years balancing high-level competition with coaching elite MMA fighters and promoting his own submission grappling show, the Craig Jones Invitational (CJI).
The first edition debuted in 2024, followed by a second event in 2025, and the third installment already has its headline bout locked in.
Danis, once regarded as one of the sport’s top grapplers, has shifted between combat sports in recent years.
He most recently captured the inaugural Misfits MMA light heavyweight championship in August, continuing a career that has blended grappling, MMA, and boxing-adjacent crossover appearances.
Jones has headlined each previous CJI event himself.
At Craig Jones Invitational 1, he faced Gabi Garcia in a widely discussed superfight.
The following year at Craig Jones Invitational 2, he competed against short-notice replacement Chael Sonnen.
