Current world rooster weight champion Caio Terra has just confirmed his presence at the World Jiu-Jitsu Expo this year, on 9 and 10 November in Long Beach, California. Terra lives in nearby in San Jose, and will participate in one of the superfights in the expo which is organized by Renzo Gracie. We still do not know if it will be Gi or No Gi, and the opponent has not yet been confirmed. His rooster weight nemesis Bruno Malfacine will be facing Jeff Glover in a no gi match. Caio chose to focus on the Expo, instead of the prestigious ADCC which will be held in Beijing in mid-October.

“It was an honor to be invited by the ADCC (for category -66kg). This would be my first time in ADCC but I had to decline because of the superfight in Jiu-Jitsu Expo. It would not be possible to fulfill all my calendar events, conduct various seminars that have been scheduled and still have to train for two tournaments. About the Jiu-Jitsu Expo, I believe that the event has all the elements to become a major annual event of Jiu-Jitsu, I’m excited to fight there again. I recommend that you come visit, it is something insane! Free seminars with elite black belts, thrilling fights and a contact between fans and their favorite fighters.”said Caio to Graciemag.

Caio’s seminar schedule is fully booked until January.
