2014 Pan: Galvao vs Lo & Bia vs Andresa Absolute Black Belt Finals

Saturday’s action at the Pans hosted the brown belts and the black belt open weight. The black belt open weight final will be decided by two smaller fighters who took no notice of the big guys . Leandro Lo and Andre Galvao will lock horns to see who will win the open division at the Pan, which is held in California, USA.

Leandro Lo, the student of Cicero Costha, submitted John Jordan in his first fight and then beat Fabiano Boi on points. After beating Victor Estima, in the quarterfinals, Lo came across the monster that is Alexander Trans, who is the current absolute champion of Europe. The smaller Brazilian was not deterred and slowed the momentum of the Dane (who had beaten Keenan Cornelius) to take the win by 4-3, in the semifinal.
