2015 IBJJF Europeans: BJJ Stars Confirmed



The next big event in the European BJJ calendar are the 2015 European Jiu-Jitsu championships!

Registrations have been open for the past 2 months .

There is a strong possibility that the event may last five days.


The dates are January 21-25,  in Lisbon, Portugal.

Black belt BJJ stars confirmed: Jordy Peute (GB), Dai Yoshioka (Tokyo Yellowmans),  Ilke Bulut (Icon), Mathias Ribeiro (Alliance), Francisco Iturralde (Alliance), Luca Anacoreta (Aeterna Jiu Jitsu ), Thomas Oyarzun (Alliance), Maximiliano Carvalho (GB) Erberth Santos (Lloyd Irvin), current European champion, Lucio “Lagarto” Rodrigues (GB), Igor Silva (GFTeam), Ricardo Evangelista (GFTeam). At master 2, Renato ‘Babalu’ Sobral.

Gabi Garcia (Alliance), Gretchen Zoeller (GB), Venla Orvokki (Hilti), Shanti Abelha (Checkmat), and Anna Louise Mayne (CFS BJJ), Janni Larsson (Checkmat), Laurence Fouilat Cousin (Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu).

More will register in the next few days.


Depending on the numbers, there could be matches on Wednesday January 21st.
