[Watch] Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett Spars Internet Troll

(Almost) every professional athlete is, or will be, “picked on” during their career by an internet troll or two.
And that is no different for MMA fighters, including Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett – who, unlike many other fighters, recently had an opportunity to spar against one of the trolls!

After being heckled on social media for some time, Pimblett called out the internet troll to a fight. And, surprisingly, the troll accepted the invitation and went to Pimblett’s gym in Liverpool (England) to face him.

Both Pimblett and the troll were in good spirits before, throughout, and after the sparring session.
As expected though, The Baddy had an upper hand, but the troll – even though he had no real training – went for it himself… And even earned 500 pounds from Pimblett as a sign of respect!

Watch their sparring match on the video below:

Pimblett is one of the most popular MMA fighters today and he is equally appreciated by the BJJ community.
Here’s what he had to say about Jiu-Jitsu, in a podcast episode with Rener Gracie:

Jiu-Jitsu has been the first thing that I fell in love with, to be honest. Before I came to MMA, Jiu-Jitsu was the first thing I fell in love with.

I started Jiu-Jitsu when I was around 15 and I was only around 50 kilo… So, I was pretty small and I was always on the bottom. And I got used to being on the bottom and I’ve enjoyed it.
And I should say – the number of submissions you can get off the bottom surprise a lot of different people.

[So] it was what got me to fall in love with MMA and it’s probably why I’m where I am now, sitting here and talking to you.
