[WATCH] Paddy Pimblett Chokes Out Rival MMA Fighter – Ignores The Tap

UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett recently made headlines after participating in an unsanctioned gym fight with rival MMA fighter Denis Frimpong – to settle a personal dispute.

Pimblett, who has been with the UFC since 2021, has risen to 13th in the lightweight rankings with a 22-3 record.
His opponent, Denis Frimpong, has significantly less experience, holding a professional record of 2-2 after an amateur career of 6-2.

The confrontation stemmed from a social media feud, leading Pimblett to travel to Manchester Top Team to face Frimpong.
The two agreed on a fight with gloves and shin guards, with no time limit, continuing until a knockout or submission.

The fight began with three minutes of striking, where Pimblett consistently gained the upper hand.
He eventually secured a takedown, applied relentless pressure, and transitioned to Frimpong’s back, where he locked in a Rear Naked Choke.

However, despite Frimpong tapping out, Pimblett held the choke until others intervened.
After being released, Frimpong quickly exited the gym to avoid further escalation.
