Nate Diaz has been charged with misdemeanor battery – following an alleged altercation at a Las Vegas nightclub in August.
According to court records obtained by MMA Fighting, the charge was filed on October 16.
It stems from an incident that took place on August 24, at the Omnia nightclub located inside Caesar’s Palace.
The alleged incident occurred when Diaz and his group were reportedly holding up the line to enter the nightclub.
A security guard approached to investigate, which reportedly led to a physical altercation.
According to the allegations, Diaz shoved the security guard, who then pushed him back.
Diaz is then accused of striking the guard in the face with an open hand.
A video of the incident appears to show Diaz shoving someone away by the face, knocking off their glasses…
And then raising his hands, as other people stepped in to de-escalate the situation.
