Luana Santos flawlessly executed a Rear Naked Choke in the first round against Mariya Agapova, at UFC Denver on Saturday.
In the finishing sequence, Santos demonstrated her judo skills with an impressive throw that brought the fight to the mat, putting Agapova at a significant disadvantage.
Despite an initial Arm Triangle Choke attempt failing, Santos transitioned smoothly to take Agapova’s back, ultimately securing the fight-ending choke on her struggling opponent.
Agapova was forced to tap out, spitting out her mouthpiece in the process.

The fight was stopped at 3:27 into Round 1, marking Santos’ fifth consecutive victory, and maintaining her perfect 3-0 record in the UFC.
This win also marked a successful return to the flyweight division for Santos, who had previously missed weight for a bantamweight bout due to a rare disease.
On the other side, Agapova was making her comeback after a lengthy 665-day layoff.
Unfortunately for her, this defeat extends her losing streak to three and makes it four losses in her past five fights.
