[WATCH] Kade Ruotolo Moves To 3-0 In MMA With An Arm Triangle Submission Victory

Kade Ruotolo continued his flawless transition into professional MMA with another dominant performance, securing a first-round submission victory over Nicolas Vigna at ONE 171: Qatar.

The decorated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt made quick work of his undefeated opponent, locking in an Arm Triangle Choke at just over the three-minute mark – to move to 3-0 in his MMA career.

Ruotolo wasted no time asserting his offensive style, opening the fight with a head kick before diving into a leg entanglement to attack a Heel Hook.
Vigna managed to defend the initial submission attempts, but found himself constantly on the defensive against Ruotolo’s attacks.

After a brief return to the feet, Ruotolo executed a clean Body Lock takedown, transitioning straight into Mount.
He then took Vigna’s back, patiently hunting for a Rear Naked Choke – before adjusting to a tight Arm Triangle.

He secured the submission and forced Vigna to tap at 3:04 of the opening round, handing the Argentinian his first professional loss.
