(WATCH) Hapkido Master Faces Off Against High School Wrestler

The viral fight channel Streetbeefs is back with another unexpected matchup – this time pitting traditional martial arts against high school grit.

In one of their latest uploads, a 31-year-old Hapkido master stepped into the cage with a 19-year-old high school wrestler named Saxman.

Known for its raw, backyard-style bouts, Streetbeefs regularly features brawls between self-proclaimed tough guys, amateur fighters, and martial artists from all walks of life.
But this particular clash caught attention for its contrast in age and martial arts background.

Hapkido, the art represented by the older fighter, is a Korean martial art focused on self-defense.
It blends strikes, throws, joint locks, and dynamic movement. However, it’s often criticized in MMA circles for its lack of live sparring and competition-tested techniques.

On the other hand, wrestling has long been considered one of the strongest foundations for mixed martial arts.
Wrestlers develop strength, control, pressure, and conditioning from a young age – often in high-intensity competitive environments.

The matchup posed a simple but intriguing question…
How would a seasoned practitioner of a traditional martial art fare against a teenager with real-time wrestling experience?
