Yaroslav Amosov is one step closer to making his UFC debut after a dominant performance at Cage Fury FC 140!
The former Bellator welterweight champion headlined the event in Philadelphia, where he quickly beat Curtis Millender with a first-round Anaconda Choke…
Improving his professional record to 28-1.
Amosov wasted no time implementing his signature wrestling, securing a takedown just two minutes into the fight.
From there, he maintained complete control, methodically working toward the submission finish at the 4:17 mark of the opening round.
His performance left no doubt that he’s ready for the next level of competition – check it out on the following link.
In his post-fight interview, Amosov revealed that his mouthpiece bore the letters “UFC” – signaling his clear ambition to join the promotion.
The 31-year-old has been vocal about his desire to compete in the UFC, and his performance at Cage Fury FC 140 only reinforced his case.
The victory marked a strong rebound for Amosov after suffering a knockout loss to Jason Jackson in November 2023, which ended both his undefeated streak and his reign as Bellator’s welterweight champion.
Before that setback, he had compiled a perfect 27-0 record, securing notable wins over top-tier competition such as Douglas Lima, Logan Storley, Gerald Harris, and Roberto Soldić.
