Edwin Najmi is a student of Romulo Barral who is know for his triangles and footlocks. After having come 2nd in his weight division, Edwin came back stronger in the Open Weight. He met Nicholas Meregali of Alliance in the final. Meregali has been on fire this year winning double gold at Europeans, Pan and World Pro.
Romulo Barral promoted Edwin to a well deserved brown belt on the podium.
