[Watch] Conor McGregor Works On His BJJ Skills In Recent Footage

Even though he’s primarily known for his superb striking skills, Conor McGregor also has very good grappling. He trains BJJ extensively and is a brown belt.

A recently surfaced video shows him working on his Jiu-Jitsu skills. More specifically, on his attacks from Turtle; preventing the opponent from standing up, taking them down, and/or taking their back and submitting them from there as the primary goals.
Watch the video below:

The video before this one showed McGregor training wrestling with the world-class coach Sergey Pikulskiy… And his, noticeably improving, wrestling skills:

Chael Sonnen commented on Conor’s training intensity – stating that it’s an obvious clue that the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion is coming back:

You don’t play wrestling. It’s very difficult. It’s very hard stuff. And the fact that Conor McGregor is out there on a weekend; pushing and pulling, holding the stance and he’s wrestling… Guys, he’s coming back.

This is the surest thing to a guarantee we’ve had. Not his tweets, not his memes, not him hitting pads.
The fact that Conor McGregor, who is down a good 15 pounds, is pushing, pulling, and wrestling… Is something you don’t play, something you don’t do to burn calories.
