McGregor is currently riding a two-fight losing streak, with both losses coming via TKO against Dustin Poirier – the only TKO losses of his career.
Those fights were part of a broader pattern of inactivity, as McGregor has only competed in four MMA bouts since 2016, amassing a 1-3 record during that time, all losses via finish.
At 36 years old, McGregor still has time to make an impact in combat sports, though lighter weight fighters often face a narrower competitive window as they age.
And, a few months ago, McGregor was seen engaging in grappling sessions – sparking speculation about a potential return to the competition arena.
