Renato Moicano successfully launched his first independent MMA event, “Money Moicano MMA 1”, over the weekend in Sao Paulo, Brazil…
And the show quickly turned into one of the wildest combat sports events of the year.
The UFC lightweight contender created the promotion as a way to stream fights directly through his YouTube channel, with the inaugural event reportedly drawing nearly 600,000 views and peaking at around 60,000 live viewers.
One of the biggest attractions on the card was the “Rinha de Inscritos” a series of sanctioned amateur MMA fights featuring subscribers from Moicano’s channel.
The most talked-about matchup saw Riquelme Fofo face Kaua Rosemberg in a politically themed bout promoted as “Petista vs. Bolsonarista”, referencing supporters of Brazilian political rivals Lula and Bolsonaro.
The fight ended when Fofo secured a TKO victory after Rosemberg quit on the stool between rounds.
However, the drama did not end there.
Shortly after the stoppage, the exhausted Rosemberg reportedly fainted before the official result was even announced.

The event also drew attention online for its unusual presentation style, which reportedly included everything from politically themed fights to unconventional announcers and ring girls.
