Craig Jones raised the stakes on day two of the Craig Jones Invitational 2 in Las Vegas, offering a $50,000 submission bonus to encourage more action.
B-Team’s Victor Hugo didn’t just deliver — he walked away with two submission finishes worth $100,000 in bonuses on top of his team’s $1 million grand prize.
Hugo, a five-time IBJJF world champion, submitted Fabricio Andrey with an Arm Triangle to push B-Team past Team Australasia in the semifinals.
Incredibly, Belal Etiabari competed despite breaking his foot the day before, but Hugo sealed B-Team’s place in the final with another Arm Triangle Choke.

On the other side of the bracket, New Wave advanced past ATOS, thanks to Giancarlo Bodoni’s decisive Armbar against Ronaldo Junior.

That set up a blockbuster final between B-Team and New Wave.
The duel started with Chris Wojcik against Mica Galvao. Both were eliminated after a hard-fought draw, and Victor Hugo returned against veteran Vagner Rocha, but couldn’t secure a finish.
Ethan Crelinsten and Dorian Olivarez battled next, with Olivarez dominating but unable to tap Crelinsten.
That left heavyweight powerhouses to settle the score.
Bodoni couldn’t break through Jozef Chen, pushing the final to a showdown between Nicky Rodriguez and Luke Griffith.
Rodriguez managed a takedown and threatened submissions, and although time expired, the judges ruled the match in his favor.
With the tiebreaker, B-Team secured the $1 million victory.
The night also saw Helena Crevar claim the women’s $100,000 tournament, defeating Sarah Galvao by straight ankle lock in the final.
Crevar had earned her place with a decision win over Adele Fornarino, while Galvao reached the final by eliminating Ana Carolina Vieira.
