Umar Nurmagomedov – the undefeated 18-0 UFC fighter – is set to face former two-time Bellator champion Eduardo Dantas in a grappling match!
This bout will headline ADXC 6 in Abu Dhabi and is scheduled for October 25 at the Mubadala Arena; just one day before UFC 308 takes place in the United Arab Emirates.
Umar Nurmagomedov has been on an impressive run, winning six consecutive fights under the UFC banner – with his most recent victory being a unanimous decision over Cory Sandhagen.
Known also for his outstanding grappling skills, Nurmagomedov has finished two of his UFC opponents via submission and has a total of seven submission victories in his MMA career.
Eduardo Dantas, Nurmagomedov’s opponent, brings a wealth of experience to the grappling match.
The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt holds a 23-8 record in MMA and has also secured seven submission victories in his career.
Dantas won the Bellator bantamweight title in 2012 by submitting Zach Makovsky with an Arm Triangle Choke – and successfully defended it with a Rear Naked Choke against Anthony Leone.
