The UFC’s planned event at the White House is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious and expensive productions in the promotion’s history, with new reports suggesting the price tag could reach as high as $60 million.
UFC CEO Dana White had already indicated that the June 14 card would surpass previous high-budget shows, and a report from Puck now estimates the promotion may spend tens of millions to stage the event as part of President Donald Trump’s America 250 celebration.
For comparison, UFC 306 at the Sphere in Las Vegas – previously considered one of the company’s most costly productions – exceeded $20 million.
White has since confirmed the White House card will require significantly more.
The event will be held on the South Lawn, where the promotion plans to construct an Octagon along with temporary seating and bleachers for spectators.
Fighters are expected to walk toward the cage from the Oval Office, adding to the spectacle.
Even restoring the lawn afterward is projected to cost roughly $700,000…
And the attendance logistics are still being finalized.
Estimates have fluctuated, but current expectations suggest approximately 5,000 spectators will be allowed on site.
Structural limitations and security concerns tied to the underground tunnels and protective infrastructure beneath the White House grounds are reportedly influencing the capacity.
Security will be strict for anyone attending, whether invited or receiving tickets through the UFC.
Around 1,000 seats are expected to be reserved for members of the military.
To accommodate a larger audience, the promotion is also planning a public viewing setup on the nearby National Mall, where large screens could allow more than 60,000 fans to watch the fights.
Additional ceremonial elements are under consideration.
The weigh-ins and possibly a press conference may take place at the Lincoln Memorial, though final confirmation has not been announced.
Broadcast plans are also still being finalized.
The card is currently expected to air on Paramount+, with discussions ongoing about airing portions of the show on CBS.
Matchmaking is underway, but no bouts have been officially announced.
TKO Group Holdings CEO Ari Emanuel has indicated the event will likely feature a smaller lineup of roughly six to seven fights, rather than a traditional large pay-per-view card.
