Nick Rodriguez – a two-time ADCC silver medalist, EBI absolute champion, and UFC FPI absolute tournament winner – enters this bout on the heels of the biggest performance of his career.
At the inaugural CJI, Rodriguez defeated four opponents in two days – finishing all of them and taking home the $1 million prize.

He also boasts a 6-1 record at UFC FPI, with his only loss coming in a close EBI overtime defeat to Gordon Ryan in 2022.

Michael Pixley – a purple belt under Daisy Fresh coach Heath Pedigo – made a name for himself this year already.

After a successful collegiate wrestling career, Pixley transitioned to no-gi BJJ and won gold at the 2024 ADCC West Coast Trials.
He followed that up with a fourth-place finish in the -99kg division at the 2024 ADCC World Championships.

Pixley’s most notable victory, however, came when he beat Nicholas Meregali at ADCC 2024 – dislocating Meregali’s shoulder with an Uchi Mata throw.
