UFC BJJ 5 is scheduled for February 12, 2026, and the promotion has officially revealed that the event will be anchored by two championship bouts!
The first title fight of the evening will see middleweight champion Ronaldo Junior make his first defense.
Junior only recently claimed the belt, winning a decision over William Tackett at UFC BJJ 4 last month.
Despite his short reign, he now faces a formidable challenge in the form of Tarik Hopstock, one of Europe’s most respected no-gi grapplers.
Hopstock is widely known as the creator of the Tarikoplata, but his skill set extends well beyond that signature submission.
A highly technical and well-rounded competitor with a dangerous leg lock game, he enters the promotion for the first time after winning the middleweight division at the IBJJF No-Gi World Championship last year.
In the main event, longtime bantamweight champion Mikey Musumeci returns to defend his title once again.
Musumeci captured the belt at UFC BJJ 1 and has since established himself as one of the promotion’s cornerstone champions, finishing opponents with submissions at both UFC BJJ 1 and UFC BJJ 3.
Standing across from him will be Shay Montague, who earns a title shot in his promotional debut after capturing his first no-gi world title last year at roosterweight.
Now moving up to challenge one of the most accomplished champions in the sport, Montague represents another major European test for UFC BJJ’s elite.
