Tom Hardy Reveals What’s His Favorite Submission In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Tom Hardy is a world-famous Hollywood actor. But did you know that he also trains Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?

He is a purple belt now and, well, he recently revealed what his favorite submission is…
Which, given Hardy’s sense of humor and overall stature, should come to no surprise:

I like to smother people…
It’s not really a submission, but a win is a win.

In a recent interview, Hardy also revealed how it felt like to start training BJJ:

I’ve always been a bit nervous of the fighting martial arts community, because I thought: “Well… This is for them, not for me. I don’t think I belong.”

I didn’t feel like it was for me, because I was intimidated, maybe.

It is a totally different feeling today:

Now it’s more of a meditation or relaxing.

I don’t need to win, I don’t care…
I always get beaten, but that’s okay.
