Swedish BJJ black belt and last year’s brown belt world champion has just won a major award: Swedish martial artist role model of the year!
Janni Larsson lives in Copenhagen, Denmark and trains at the powerhouse that is Arte Suave, CheckMat which is the academy of feloow champions such as Alexander Trans, Ida Hansson or Shanti Abelha.

Janni has won among other awards, the gold at purple and brown belt at the IBJJF worlds.

Wow, what a night! I was nominated for four awards at the martial arts Gala and I won this year’s role model! Thanks to all who have made this possible! And thanks to my sister Li Larsson, my date!!
The award for Swedish martial artist of the year went UFC fighter Alexander Gustavsson.
