San Francisco Open: Keenan Double Gold, Mendes Bros Dominate Featherweight

keenan

Last weekend’s IBJJF San Francisco Open was a great success, gathering the whole community of northern and southern California and beyond. it also served as a build up for the Pans which will be next month.

BJJ golden boy, Keenan Cornelius opened his competition year with a bang taking the gold in his weightclass and the absolute.

Keenan had this to say on his facebook (also making a joke):

Today I won double gold at the San Fran Open winning all my fights by submission and I set a high score of 42 on Flappy Bird so i guess you could say things are getting pretty serious.

In the featherweight Rafael and Guilherme Mendes dominated and closed out their feather weight division.
