Royce Gracie Says Mike Tyson “Wouldn’t Stand A Chance” Against Him

In a recent episode of the “All Facts No Brakes” podcast, BJJ legend Royce Gracie shared his thoughts on what would happen in a potential match against the boxing GOAT – Mike Tyson.

What’s more, Gracie revealed that the UFC had indeed extended an invitation to Tyson to step into the octagon…
A challenge that the former heavyweight boxing champion surprisingly accepted:

We actually invited Mike Tyson to fight.

He accepted to fight in the UFC, but then everybody around him said: “Don’t do it. He can ruin boxing for you.”

So, the fight never took place.

Gracie discussed what could have been – while acknowledging Tyson’s fearsome punching power, he still remained confident in his own BJJ skills:

He wouldn’t have stood a chance.
He’s a tough guy, but once I take him down, it’s over.

There’s only one way to find out, and that’s to get in the ring and do it.

I don’t think I’d get a TKO on Tyson, there’s no way, unless you just hit him the right way…
It would have been a submission with him, not a TKO.

What do you think? Who would’ve won the fight if it took place – Tyson or Gracie?
