Rolles and Daniel with Renzo Gracie
According to the website asianmma.com, after a mediocre MMA career so far, it looks like Rolles and Daniel Gracie will try out Japanese pro wrestling (Puroresu). Both Gracies have had an up and down MMA career, Rolles fought once in the UFC losing Joey Beltran and Daniel also had a short career in Pride:
“Yes, you read that correctly, the legendary Gracie family will try their hand at professional wrestling and they will do it at Japan’s biggest wrestling show of the year on January 4th at the Tokyo Dome.
Before the singles match between Kazushi Sakuraba and Yuji Nagata at today’s New Japan Pro Wrestling PPV, Rolles & Daniel Gracie challenged any member of the New Japan roster to match at Wrestlekingdom 8, bragging that the Gracies were “King of Sport”. After defeating Sakuraba, Nagata accepted the challenge of the Gracies. Of course Saku knows a thing or two about the world famous Brazilian Jujitsu family so he also through himself into the mix and we will now get Nagata and Sakuraba teaming up to take on the Gracies next January at Wrestlekingdom 8.”
