And we have an EXCITING event on our hands! On July 17, the “Road to ADCC” will take place and will feature many of the world’s top-ranking submission grapplers.
The main event is going to be between the two 2019 ADCC gold medal winners – the Heavyweight champion Kaynan Duarte and Middleweight champion Matheus Diniz. However, the rest of the card is no less exhilarating, as Craig Jones is matched up against Lucas “Hulk” Barbosa, and with Nicky Ryan facing Dante Leon.
But that’s not all, folks! Mikey Musumeci is set to continue his winning streak on the No Gi scene, this time moving up in weight! He’ll take on Geo Martinez, the 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu veteran.
This could very well be a decision-making match in so far as who is the best “light weight” No Gi grappler in the world, for both Musumeci and Martinez have previously won their matches against Junny Ocasio.
Furthermore, the card will feature Elisabeth Clay – the 2021 No Gi Pans double gold medal winner – who will face Ana Carolina Vieira, a four-time IBJJF World Champion. Also, Andrew Wiltse will take on Roberto Jimenez.
