Renzo Gracie: “Anderson Silva Is Not A Humble Guy…”

RenzoGracie01

The renowned MMA and Brazilian jiu-jitsu trainer blasted Silva in an interview with Fight News Now, saying the UFC middleweight champion – and pound-for-pound best fighter in the world – is “not a humble guy.” He doesn’t believe Silva, a fellow Brazilian, demonstrates respect and humility. It’s also worth noting that Gracie, whose gym is in Manhattan, is also one of the trainers for Silva’s next opponent, Chris Weidman, who challenges for the title next Saturday at UFC 162 in Las Vegas:

“Anderson is a guy that rubs many people the wrong way. He’s not a humble guy. Even though he may speak humbly when he talks, when he’s in the ring he doesn’t act humbly. He puts down his opponents.
By looking at that, we know it’s wrong. You can beat your opponent, but do it with respect.”
