Rampage Jackson’s Son Faces Felony Charges After Violent Attack At Los Angeles Wrestling Event

Raja Jackson, the 25-year-old son of MMA legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, is facing serious legal trouble following a violent assault on professional wrestler Stuart Smith, known in the ring as Syko Stu.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has confirmed plans to file formal charges, including one felony count of battery causing serious bodily injury and one misdemeanor count of battery.

The charges stem from an August incident at a Knockx wrestling event in Los Angeles, where Jackson was initially scheduled to make a staged appearance.
Instead, the situation spiraled out of control.

Witnesses and video footage show Jackson slamming Smith to the ground before delivering more than twenty punches – many of which landed after Smith appeared to lose consciousness.

The brutal assault left Smith hospitalized with multiple injuries, including a fractured maxilla, broken teeth, and deep lacerations to his face and head.
Family members later revealed he suffered trauma to both jaws and significant dental damage.

According to reports, the altercation began earlier in the day when Smith mistakenly struck Jackson with a beer can, believing he was part of a promotional skit.
Though the two appeared to reconcile afterward, Jackson later went live on social media, vowing revenge “for real” during the event.

Moments later, he carried out the attack inside the ring.

Authorities arrested Jackson in September, and he was later released on a $50,000 bond.
Prosecutors are also seeking a sentencing enhancement based on the severity of Smith’s injuries, which could lead to a stiffer penalty if Jackson is convicted.

If found guilty, Jackson could face up to four years in prison for the felony charge, plus an additional year for the misdemeanor offense.
The enhancement tied to “great bodily injury” could add further time to his potential sentence, leaving the son of the former UFC champion facing a grim legal outlook.
