Promotion Time: Gabi Garcia Is Now A Judo Black Belt

Gabi Garcia, one of the most successful female athletes in the history of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, has now been promoted to the rank of a Judo black belt!

Recognized by USA Judo as being the rank of Shodan (first degree black belt), Garcia has now added yet another success to her tremendous list of accolades – including 4 ADCC titles and 6 IBJJF World Championships to her name.

Gabi Garcia is not just a BJJ athlete, but she is an undefeated MMA fighter as well!
She has a 6-0 record and is looking to have her comeback fight in 2023:

Back to the ring by doing my part for this division and other divisions for women in this sport! I can’t end my MMA career without my goal to open up opportunities for all divisions.

It’s time to step into the ring and show the world that every sport I compete in, I am the one who holds the crown.

For everyone who thinks my career is done, I have bad news for you… I’ll never stop training! It’s time to shine!
