Polaris Loads Up Women’s Roster – Signs Sarah Galvao For A Multi-Match Contract

Polaris has added another powerhouse to its lineup for 2026, signing Sarah Galvao in what looks like a major investment into their growing women’s divisions.

Galvao is the latest name in an already impressive list – and her signing comes right on the heels of Danielle Kelly, signaling that Polaris is strategically strengthening women’s competition across weight classes.

Galvao is widely recognized as one of the best competitors under 65kg in both gi and no-gi, making her a title threat from day one.
And her arrival immediately teases a potential trilogy with current Polaris featherweight champion, Helena Crevar.

The two already have a split history – Galvao won their first meeting earlier this year in the gi when they were both brown belts, before Crevar evened the score with a submission victory in the final of the $100,000 CJI 2 tournament.

Whether Polaris chooses to pull the trigger on that third match, place Galvao in another division to chase a different title, or use her as one of the captains for a Polaris Squads format, she’s stepping into a promotion with multiple high-profile pathways.
Polaris 32 hosted its first-ever women’s Squads match and the reception made it clear that fans want more team-driven female competition.

No matter how she’s booked, Galvao brings a style built for Polaris: aggressive, fast, and offensive from the opening exchange.
