Paddy Pimblett Talks Training BJJ: “Nothing Else To Worry About”

UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett recently spoke about the mental health benefits he gains from training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

For him, stepping onto the mats is more than just a physical workout…
It’s a form of escape and mental reset:

Whenever I get on the mat, no matter how bad my day’s been mentally…
Once I’m on the mat, I’m on the mat and that’s it.

I don’t have any weight on my shoulders, don’t have anything else to worry about.

Pimblett is far from being the only high-profile figure to highlight these benefits.

For example, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has also spoken about how Jiu-Jitsu helps him maintain focus and problem-solving clarity:

After an hour or two of rolling, I’m ready to go solve whatever problem at work.

Famous actor Tom Hardy has echoed a similar sentiment:

Simple training, for me, has been fundamentally key to further developing a deeper sense of inner resilience, calm, and wellbeing.
I can’t stress the importance it has had, and the impact on my life and my fellow teammates.

It is an honor to be able to represent my team REORG and the great work they do supporting the mental health and wellbeing of veterans of service, military and first responders through the therapeutic benefits of Jiu-Jitsu and fitness training.
