Sage Northcutt didn’t fight for nearly four years… But now he’s back with a bang – with a Heel Hook submission win!
He faced off Ahmed Mujtaba at ONE Fight Night 10. The match barely even started, when Mujtaba landed a jab and dropped Northcutt on the canvas.
However, Northcutt quickly recovered and attacked the legs. He went for the Heel Hook and got the tap!

Northcutt didn’t compete since his match against Cosmo Alexandre, when the 27-year-old sustained a number of serious injuries to his face.
The injuries kept him out of the octagon for years, and so did the COVID pandemic.
However, “Super” Sage is now back at it again. With this win, he improved his professional MMA record to 12-3 and earned the $50,000 post-fight bonus.
