In a groundbreaking development for the UFC, Dana White has announced that Kayla Harrison, a 2x Olympic gold medalist in Judo, will be joining the organization!

Her debut is set to be a match against former bantamweight champion Holly Holm at UFC 300, scheduled for April 13th, 2024.

Harrison has competed in 17 professional MMA fights, with the majority at lightweight and one notable featherweight fight at Invicta FC 43 in 2020.
The move to bantamweight, therefore, is a new challenge for Harrison – who has not previously fought in this category professionally.

Harrison has primarily fought for the Professional Fighters League (PFL), where she claimed the lightweight championship twice and amassed a 17-1 professional record.
