Nicky Ryan has addressed ongoing speculation surrounding his relationship with his brother, Gordon Ryan, confirming that the two have reconciled and are now on good terms.
Rumors about tension within the Ryan family have circulated throughout the grappling community for months, but Nicky moved to calm the situation:
Although me and my brother have had our problems in the past, as all brothers do, we’ve been talking and have been on good terms for quite some time.
Nicky also cautioned fans about believing everything shared online:
Obviously, there have been a lot of rumors flying around about my family and I would suggest that you don’t listen to everything you see or read on the internet.
While acknowledging the interest from supporters, he made it clear that he does not want the situation to become public drama:
I love the community and all of my fans and I would ask that you guys please respect my privacy on the matter.
We prefer to have family business stay within the family.
John Danaher added a heartwarming comment as well:
As happy as we all are to see this – no one will happier than your Mom.
Family first always.
