Nicholas Meregali Talks Fake World Of Instagram: “It Highlights The Glory…”

Nicholas Meregali is on his road to recovery from the shoulder injury he sustained at ADCC 2024.
Surgery appears to have gone well and he’s been doing apparently successful rehab work for the last several weeks.

He had been sharing a lot of wisdom via social media in the meantime as well.
For example – about the “fake world of Instagram”.

He spoke about the topic while connecting it to the importance of self-improvement and overcoming pain in life:

It’s known by everyone that pain is temporary, and everything we do today is about building our best self toward a bigger picture we are painting.
While getting ready for that next chapter in life, we tend to doubt and judge the pain we feel because we misunderstand what it means to work on something that sustains our purpose.

There are moments when we accept pain mixed with flashes of glory, and at other times quitting feels like the only option.

Which is why it’s important, Meregali explains, to focus on the real world rather than the world of Instagram:

Life mixes pleasure with pain, and in a world where Instagram highlights look better than real life’s purpose, we can lose ourselves in the process of building our own beauty and legacy.

Life is not easy and because it’s not easy, it can be great.
Embrace the beauty of the real world.
