Even though he is competing today, at the UFC Fight Pass Invitational 6 event, Nicholas Meregali is laser-focused on perhaps the biggest submission grappling tournament in the world this year…
The ADCC 2024.
In fact, he is so certain of his success and his win, that he’s confident that he’ll not only win the tournament – but that he will double gold with more than an outstanding submission rate.
Here is what Meregali had to say in a recent social media post:
I will double gold ADCC 2024 with over 85% submission rate.
ADCC rules are 15 minutes match in the first rounds and 30 minutes match in the finals.
The last 2 guys I fought no gi, I made them give up after about 10 minutes and I tap them both about 12 minutes in, they were the 3 best no gi fighters in the world at that time and they had no chance against me.
He is not only confident that he’s better than his opponents, but also than his previous self:
I’ve been progressing faster than everyone and the distance between me and the others will just increase.
I’m already a different athlete than the last Meregali that everyone watched in December, and I know that by ADCC I will be the most impeccable and perfect athlete in the World.
