Nicholas Meregali Admits He’ll Have An Easy Run At ADCC 2024

Nicholas Meregali is becoming better day by day and he is very much looking forward to competing at ADCC 2024…
Where he expects to have an easy way to winning the title(s).

Which, as a lot of the athletes made the switch to competing at the Craig Jones Invitational (CJI), might turn out to be true.
Here is what Meregali said:

No matter who steps on the mats with me at ADCC, it’s going to be an easy match.
There isn’t a single person in either divisions, 99kg or Open Weight, who can stand a chance against me.

Not your favorite grappler, not the reigning champions, not the upcoming fighters, there’s no one.
They will only be statistics in my record.

He continues:

They’re all average, and all they have going for them is hype.

At this stage of my camp, the best thing I can do is rest up and wait to collect my double gold.
I’ll wish my opponents luck, not to win, but just to make their loss a little less dramatic.

Some of the comments have criticized Meregali for not competing at CJI instead, where he might encounter more of a challenge:

Perhaps you should’ve gone to CJI where you would’ve had more of a challenge?!
It’s not very exciting for fans to watch someone that is has no good competition.
