MMA Fighter Suffers In-Cage Meltdown Over “Stupid Girls Breaking His Heart”

An unhinged post-fight speech after a spectacular win has granted MMA fighter Iyean Varela an abundance of bad press…
With fight fans even questioning whether he is fit for such a sport.

Earlier this Sunday, Varela claimed his second professional MMA win at Fury FC 94, with a slick first-round Guillotine Choke submission over Emerson David Guerrero Garcia.

However, an otherwise spectacular win was overshadowed as the American had a meltdown in the cage during his post-fight interview.

He vented his frustration in an explicit rant, saying:

I’m f*cking heartbroken. Time out…

The only reason I got into this sport was these f*cking stupid girls, who want to keep f*cking breaking my f*cking heart.
And my grandma f*cking died.

So f*ck off.

Suffice it to say the unruly speech caught the attention of fight fans who quickly took to social media to note their opinions on the matter.

For example, @Cerebralbets wrote:

Unhinged, shouldn’t be fighting. Emotions gotta be kept in check.
That’s not supposed to be for the public.

Another X (formerly Twitter) user @Kash8778 empathized with the fighter, saying:

He needs guidance.
I can understand his pain, but he can’t express it like that in public.
