2 days ago, MMA fighter Nelson Ivan del Valle-Nazario, 34, of Tampa, Fl. was sentenced to life in prison for sexual assualt and rape on a minor (12 years old)
Nazario had a 3-3 Pro MMA record.
The victim was between the ages of 12 and 13 at the time of the offenses.
Del Valle-Nazario, wh owned a MMA gym called Undisputed Fitness in Tamp, Florida was the girl’s coach.
The victim, now a 15 year teenage girl, faced her rapist and asked him to look here in the eye.
“I want you to look at me,” she said. “I remember when you said nobody would believe me if I said anything. I spoke up and people believed me.”
Del Valle had described the girl’s leggings during her MMA classes as provocative.
“It was the leggings she wore, they said. It was the uniform she wore for the gym.” The victim’s mother said.
