Dana White has just announced that Mikey Musumeci has signed an exclusive deal with the UFC!
Musumeci has signed the first ever BJJ promotional agreement in the UFC history.
He will compete in the Fight Pass Invitational.
Here is what White said in a recent social media post:
Over the course of the last year, I’ve been working on developing the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program in the world.
I am excited to announce that we’ve signed Mikey Musumeci to the first ever, exclusive, BJJ promotional agreement in the company history.If you don’t know, Mikey is considered by many to be the best BJJ player in the world – and he is a multiple-time world champion & unbeaten in the last 8 years in the under 135lbs.
Per White, more exciting news are coming for the BJJ fans in the upcoming months:
This will be the first of many in the coming months.
Mikey will make his Fight Pass Invitational debut against Felipe Machado – live on December 5th, Las Vegas at the Apex.

Musumeci had recently parted ways with ONE Championship, where he competed for the last few years.
