Mikey Musumeci Reveals His PEDs Test Results

Mikey Musumeci is one of the top-ranking BJJ athletes in the world, who’s recently become more vocal about the performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) abuse in the sport.

So, it doesn’t really come as a surprise that his most recent PEDs test results came back negative:

This letter is to inform you that your test results post your bout on May 5, 2023 was negative for any substances found on the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited and banned list.

We greatly appreciate your cooperation and efforts to uphold the integrity of the sport.

Nevertheless, Musumeci used that as an opportunity to, yet again, point to the problem of PEDs abuse:

Unfortunately the past and the current generation of jiu jitsu is ridiculous with the amount of steroids involved…

Remember if you hear people say the Whole vs Part flaw from formal logic: “Everyone is doing them, so I should as well, and therefore I am not cheating”, realize you don’t need to inject a needle in your butt to be a champion.

You don’t need to take shortcuts to be a champion, get a stronger mind and better Jiu-Jitsu and make it happen.
