Mikey Musumeci Accuses Diogo Reis Of Being On PEDs: “Said He Can’t Pass The Dru* Test”

Mikey Musumeci has ignited controversy with a Reddit comment, accusing Diogo “Baby Shark” Reis of using performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) and ducking multiple matchups.

The post, which comes on the heels of criticism directed at Musumeci for calling out veteran competitor Geo Martinez, offered a deeper look at the behind-the-scenes drama affecting several failed attempts to schedule a high-profile bout between Musumeci and Reis.

Here is what Musumeci had to say:

Baby Shark canceled the match about 4 times because he sent them all the steroids he’s on.
He said he can’t pass the d*ug test and I even offered to do the match with no d*ug testing.

Musumeci claims that Reis repeatedly pulled out of proposed matchups, blaming drug testing requirements as the reason for backing out.

According to Musumeci, these cancellations not only stalled a marquee rivalry but also took a toll on his physical and mental health.
He detailed a cycle of intense training camps followed by abrupt cancellations that led to serious complications – including three stomach ulcers he says he still deals with today:

Every month I was told I’d be fighting him…
Then it was changed again.

I am not on steroids, it’s not sustainable for me to be in camp killing myself like this.

Adding to the complexity of the situation, Musumeci stated that after failing to meet him during their initially agreed-upon timeline, Reis opted to compete at a Who’s Number One event instead.
And more recently, Reis allegedly declined a UFC BJJ match due to exclusivity with another promotion:

My first debut match in UFC, I begged for Baby Shark again.
But now he says he’s exclusive to ONE and can’t fight me.
