Former interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit is set to make his return to competition – but this time in the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
He is scheduled to face off against Michael “Venom” Page at Polaris 30, which will take place at Fairfield Halls in Croydon, London, next month.
Condit, a former UFC interim welterweight titleholder, retired from mixed martial arts in 2021 after an illustrious career.
Known for his exciting fighting style and well-rounded skillset, Condit also held the WEC welterweight title and famously challenged UFC legend Georges St-Pierre for the undisputed title in 2012 at UFC 154.
Michael “Venom” Page, on the other hand, is a standout striker and former Bellator MMA star – and has been focusing on improving his grappling skills, making this matchup a great test for him.
Ariel Helwani confirmed the news, sharing on X:
Michael “Venom” Page versus Carlos Condit has been booked for Polaris 30 on November 2, per promotion officials.
MVP has been working on his grappling as of late and this popped up as a good test.

Sloth Jiu-Jitsu: you can be slow and unathletic and still kick butt in Jiu-Jitsu.
