Mason Fowler vs. David Garmo Set For UFC BJJ 2 Co-Main Event

UFC BJJ is wasting no time building its championship roster, and the promotion has just announced that Mason Fowler will face David Garmo in the co-main event of UFC BJJ 2 on July 31st.

The bout will crown the inaugural light-heavyweight champion, making it the only vacant title up for grabs on the second event’s lineup.

UFC BJJ 2 will also feature the first title defense in the promotion’s short history, as Andrew Tackett puts his welterweight belt on the line against Renato Canuto.
That fight was set in dramatic fashion immediately after Tackett won his title, when Canuto stepped onto the mat for a face-off.

The card will also see the promotional debut of William Tackett, who takes on Kyle Chambers in a non-title bout.
While the rest of the matchups haven’t been made official, several top athletes including Raquel Canuto and Kennedy Maciel have confirmed their participation.

Mason Fowler is a two-time ADCC veteran with victories over major names like Craig Jones, while David Garmo has built his own impressive resume.
He’s had standout performances at ADCC Trials and IBJJF No-Gi events, including becoming only the second American black belt to win gold at the IBJJF No-Gi Brasileiro this year.

With well-rounded games and a shared reputation for chasing finishes, Fowler and Garmo promise an action-packed battle that could steal the show.
