Mason Fowler, known for both his gi & no-gi career and skills, recently had doubts about the effectiveness of a particular technique that his coach Caio Terra was teaching.
Fowler, who is much bigger than his coach, was sceptical whether the technique would work.
So, what followed was a series of moves that ended with a tight choke applied around Fowler’s neck.
Before long, Fowler’s body momentarily convulsed – he had been choked unconscious by Terra’s submission.
The submission Terra used was a variation of the Canto Choke.
And the video was later shared with Fowler humorously captioning it: “Never disrespect your coach.”

Did you like the submission? Want to try it out for yourself?
Try to “prank” a training partner with it just like Terra did to Fowler – but be careful. Make sure to let go of the submission before they go to sleep!
