Mark Ormrod, BJJ Blue Belt & Triple-Amputee, Completes 24h BJJ Rolling Challenge

Mark Ormrod, who is a BJJ blue belt, a military veteran, and a triple-amputee, finished a 24-hour BJJ rolling challenge with an aim of soliciting donations to Reorg.
Reorg is an organization that helps veterans that struggle with life-altering injuries and trauma overcome their challenges through learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. According to the organization, 58 academies have participated in their recent “Rollathon”; a 24-hour rolling challenge, which already managed to raise over $663,500 USD to support veterans.

Mark Ormrod shared the news of his success on social media:

WE DID IT!

WHAT A WAY TO END THE YEAR AND FINISH THE 2021 @reorgcharity FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN!

24hrs non-stop rolling all in the name of the cause.

MASSIVE thank you to @pantheonplymouth @bjjplymouth @ricky_bell_bjj @flomartialarts and @hybrid_jiujitsu_plymouth for your support and to all the members of the serving military, the veteran community, the emergency services and the 58 academies for helping to make this event such a success.

Thank you to all of our friends in the media for covering this years events and helping us to raise so much money.

On a personal note thank you to @samreorgcharity for his leadership, @ben.wadham for EVERYTHING you’ve always done for me, @trentscanlen and @tomhardy for making this team so strong and everybody who has donated, shared our campaign helped us to spread the word and make this year the huge success that it has been.

Now it’s time to head home for a bubble bath and a relaxing weekend! Just kidding! Gotta business meeting, quick shower and then we’re heading to London.

There’s still time to donate if you hit the link in my bio.

THANKS EVERYONE

YOU’RE ALL AWESOME
