Mahamed Aly has taken another significant step in his professional MMA career – improving his record to 3-0 with a victory at Shogun Fights 29.
After a rocky start with numerous amateur fights falling through, Aly was forced to jump straight into professional competition earlier this year.
He made a memorable debut at PCS: Bud Light Fight Night, where he knocked out his seasoned opponent in under a minute.
Aly’s momentum continued as he quickly returned to the cage, taking his second fight at Cagezilla FC 79 against yet another more experienced adversary.
Once again, Aly’s striking power was on full display, securing another first-round knockout and advancing to a 2-0 record.
He briefly stepped away from MMA to compete in the inaugural Craig Jones Invitational (CJI), but lost in the opening round.
Then, on October 5, Aly faced off against Cameron “Big Mac” Graham, an experienced fighter with a 7-17 record.
While Graham managed to take Aly into the second round – something no previous opponent had done – Aly still found a way to finish the fight.
After delivering heavy ground-and-pound, Aly landed a vicious left hook to Graham’s body…
Dropping him and securing the win.
