Khabib Nurmagomedov: “My Son Started Wrestling At Three And A Half Years Of Age”

Khabib Nurmagomedov is known as one of the greatest to ever do it in MMA – and there’s a good chance that his son will follow his footsteps.

During a recent interview with Red Corner MMA (at Eagle FC 51), Nurmagomedov revealed that his son has been training in gymnastics and wrestling since a very young age… Younger than he, himself, started training actually:

My son is already training [wrestling] and doing gymnastics. He has a good coach that I trust. He already trains in Makhachkala. He started earlier than I did, at three and a half years of age.

It’s safe to say that Khabib’s son could have a bright future in combat sports ahead of him.
For example, Makhachev admits that, even though Khabib’s retired – that he could still beat him:

This guy who show[s] me all roads, how I have to train, how I have to live, what I have to do. This guy is more professional [than me].
Even right now when he retired, he [is] still in very good shape.

We [have] compete[d] many times. We have more than [a] thousand rounds in the gym.
He is my hardest opponent. Nobody can stop Khabib in the cage, not even me.
