Khabib Nurmagomedov Explains His Approach To Gym Etiquette: “Like A Wedding”

In footage from the UFC 330 preparations, Khabib Nurmagomedov shared an unexpected but telling philosophy on gym etiquette…

Treating every training session with the same care he’d bring to a formal occasion.

Here is what he had to say about the topic:

All the time when I go to gym, I always cut my nails. I wash my who body. I wash my teeth. I go very good t-shirts smell. I put cologne on myself…
When I go to the gym, I go like on holiday, you know, like how to say – like somebody’s like weeding.

That level of care isn’t just about personal habit.

For Khabib, it reflects respect for the people who make hard training possible in the first place.
Because, you have tot take care of yourself and of them as well, in order to have people around you willing to help you improve:

Like you have to because you have to think about your sparring partners too. This is very important.

You know when you go with your bad smell, who who’s going to stay with you?
Who’s going to spar? Who’s going to wrestle with you?
