Joey Diaz Says He Fears D*ing In Morning BJJ Classes: “What’s The Difference…”

Veteran comedian Joey Diaz delivered a mix of humor and honesty during a recent UFC London podcast appearance alongside Joe Rogan, Brendan Schaub, and Eddie Bravo…

Revealing that he’s still actively training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu well into his 60s!

The moment came up unexpectedly during a conversation about aging and lifestyle changes.
Diaz was explaining why he had adjusted certain habits after turning 50, citing concerns about health risks in the early hours of the day:

I cut out sex in the morning.

Joe Rogan quickly asked if that decision was tied to concerns about heart health, and Diaz confirmed it was.
However, he immediately realized there was a contradiction in his reasoning:

Yeah, but I’m at Jiu-Jitsu at 9:00 getting beat up by 20-year-olds.
What’s the difference?

The realization sparked laughter, as Diaz pointed out that despite avoiding certain activities due to perceived risks, he was still regularly engaging in intense grappling sessions against much younger training partners:

I’m doing hip escapes, I’m dying here.

Which is what, well, led to usual Diaz’s storytelling continuation:

So I said, forget it. Let me start giving her a st*b in the morning again.
